Inverters turn DC power in 240V AC power. Applications include:
- Off Grid inverters: Typically >2000 watts and run at 24, 48 or 120 volts. Brands here include Selectronic, Victron and Latronics
- RV inverters: Typically 2000 watts or less and run at 12 or 24V. Brands here include Victron and Latronics
- Grid connect inverters
RV and Off Grid inverters can either be straight inverters or inverter chargers which can also charge you battery bank from an AC source such as a generator or shore power.
