Refund and Exchange Policy
At Sunergy Solar, we aim to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their purchases. Below, we outline our policy regarding refunds and exchanges in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Refund of Purchase
Refunds are available under the following circumstances:
- The item is significantly not as described or does not match its intended purpose.
- The item is defective, as determined under our warranty policy.
Please note that refunds are not available for change-of-mind purchases unless required by law.
Exchange of Purchase
While we encourage careful selection before purchase, we do allow exchanges under certain conditions:
- Change-of-Mind Exchanges:
- Sunergy Solar generally does not accept returns due to a change of mind. However, if an exception is made, a 20% restocking fee will apply.
- Eligible for Exchange or Refund:
- The item is defective, as defined by Australian Consumer Law.
- Goods were supplied incorrectly.
- Goods vary significantly from their description.
For goods supplied incorrectly or not matching their description, you must notify us within 2 days of receipt. Items must be:
- Returned unused.
- In their original packaging.
- Accompanied by the original invoice or proof of purchase.
Returning Goods
If your item qualifies for a return or exchange, Sunergy Solar will arrange the return process as follows:
- Prepaid Shipping:
- We will email you a pre-paid return label.
- Attach the label to the item and drop it off at the nearest post office or courier pick-up point.
- Inspection and Processing:
- Upon receiving the returned goods, we will inspect them to confirm they meet the refund or exchange criteria.
- Refunds or exchanges will be processed promptly once the item passes inspection.
